WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE ANIMALS REMOVED FROM MY PROPERTY?

All animals removed from the property are humanely and painlessly dispatched by use of CO2 gas

WHY CAN'T THE ANIMALS BE RELEASED INTO THE WILD FAR AWAY FROM OTHER HOUSES?

The translocation of animals is strictly forbidden by Virginia state law. But more importantly, a translocated animal is all but certain to die. Putting an animal in a situation where it has no idea of where food or water is, or where they might seek cover from predators in the area is cruel, and the pain and following death shows no respect for the animal

IF I CATCH AN ANIMAL IN A TRAP, WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?

Simple, you call us. For a nominal fee, we will remove the animal from your property

MY HUSBAND HUNTS, CAN HE SHOOT AN ANIMAL THAT WE CATCH?

Provided it is legal he can shoot the animal while on your property. He can not however legally remove the animal from the property for any reason unless he has a Commercial Nuisance animal permit issued by the state like we do.

WILL THE TRAPS YOU WILL BE SETTING INJUSE MY CHILD OR PET?

Some traps can indeed cause injury and possible death to children and pets. Rest assured our set up fee includes a survey of the property to determine the best traps to use to solve the problem. We have a wide array of traps to include live traps and cages which pose no threat to children or animals.

What locations do you service?

We are located in Spotsylvania county just outside of Fredericksburg Va. We service all localities in Virginia from Fairfax to Richmond along the I95 corridor we also service all localities east and west of I95 within an Hours drive. Of course this is a general rule and there are exceptions we are here to solve your problems and if you live outside of these perimeters we will make every effort to help you or put you in contact with a reputable company that can.

Can't the city or county take care of the problem for free?

Although your tax dollars, pay for an animal control department which is usually a division of your police or sheriffs dept. Those offices are set up to deal with Domestic animals only and specialize in animals running loose of animal abuse cases. As far as the state is concerned although they have dominion over wild animals they have no entity which deals with their removal from private property.

Do you take care of termites or any other insects?

No. The use of chemicals to rid homes of insects is a separate license which our technicians don't possess. If you are having troubles with this type of pests we have a list of reputable exterminators on hand which we will be glad to share with you

Do you use poisons or rodenticides?

Our technicians are not licensed to use chemicals and we would be happy to recommend an exterminator who is licensed to use these chemicals

What types of traps do you use?

We employ many different types of traps depending on the location, if there are children or pets using the area, and what you the client are comfortable with. When you call to set up your appointment one of our technicians will gladly describe all appropriate traps and their use and find a solution that you are comfortable with

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business Since 2006. But the knowledge of trapping and animal biology goes back over 30 years all of our Technicians were animal trappers long before becoming Nuisance animal control technicians

Which animals do you handle?

We Handle all wild animals. Generally speaking If it walks , crawls, slithers or flies and it is a nuisance we can help you with it. The only wild animals we don't generally handle are deer and bear.

Which animals don't you handle?

In Addition to deer and bears, we do not handle domestic animals or feral cats

Do all wild animals carry rabies?

All mammals have the ability to contract rabies, some more easily than others. Beware of "internet authorities" that say that possums can't get rabies. They can and like all rabies vector animals should only be handles by professionals.

What form of payment do you collect?

We prefer checks or cash we do not take credit cards. If this is a problem payment can be arranged via pay pal in exceptional cases.

Do you pick up orphaned or injured animals?

We do not as a rule pick up injured or orphaned animals. We suggest you call one of the many animal rescues in the area to pick up the animal
